Otherland NetFeed Contest: Win a Chance to Ask Tad Williams a Question!

Gamigo and Otherland NetFeed are working together in a contest where you could win a chance to get a question answered about Otherland directly from Tad Williams, the author of the Otherland books! Gamigo currently has their own version of the contest where you need to upload a video to YouTube with your question, however our version only requires you to ask your question in plain text!

Here's how we will be doing this.

• We will be leaving this thread open for 4 days
• You can submit as many questions as you want but only two will be selected out of the entire pool of questions
• On Monday morning the Otherland NetFeed team will be selecting the questions we feel are best written and are most relevant.
• We will then be polling the community for their favourite TWO questions to be sent directly to Tad!
• The contest will be going on until April 25.

How do you feel about the results of the Otherland Game? Are you satisfied with the results and do think the game will reflect the awesome world you've created in your Otherland books so that even those people who didn't read the books will get in its charm?

How much of the MMO's storyline past the books have you had direct input on, and how does it tie in with the actual story? Will we be fighting bosses or things from the books in the game?

1.So i never read the books, and i dont know anything at all about the plot, will you make sure for us to ynderstand all, or just ( do as milions of other mmos) make text quests- just wrote down bunch of stroy noone never read and hope for the best ?
2.Will there be cinematics ?
3.Star Wars failed coz of the combat system, what you can offer to make us stay after a while ?
4.As i dont know a thing about comat in Otherland, will there be classes ? Like warrior/rouge/mage, or other types. Also, there is something like magic in this game ( i know you cna crate whatever you want, but just to cofirm )

How will the creation be implemented? Will it be scripting and polygon models, etcetc, like Second Life, or will it be more simplistic?
What will you be doing with the combat to make it stand out from the hundreds of cookie-cutter MMOs out there?

Can you comment if or how the events in the books appear in the game? Will the story told in the game provide additional insight into the characters in the books, or will the events in the game and those in the books occur separately?
