Community Contest: Unite your Virtual Otherland Voice!
Greetings Otherland Citizens!
A new contest has begun that is challenging the Otherland community to unlock special community-based prizes! Gamigo and Otherland NetFeed have partnered up to bring you new and exciting material that the whole community can enjoy - assuming you can overcome the challenges together!
A mysterious thermometer has appeared on our site reflecting 7 possible milestones and the achievement of filling the bar up completely. What prizes are in store? We don't know! All we know is how you can participate to unlock the secrets that it holds. Visit the official contest page here.
Rules:
All you need to do is like and follow BOTH the Official Otherland MMO AND Otherland NetFeed Facebook and Twitter pages. Each like/follow will enter you into a prize pool for a total of four(4) contest entries, one for each social media outlet, that then make you eligible for material prizes. There are only a select few material prizes and winners will be randomly selected from the total pool of entered users and given a prize. It is up to you to make sure you are contactable through one of the social media outlets via private message to claim your prize if you are chosen.
The thermometer will steadily increase as the TOTAL amount of Twitter/Facebook fans between the Official Otherland MMO & Otherland NetFeed accounts increases. In addition, the meter will also increase for every like and share of any Twitter/Facebook post either account makes after the contest has launched.

2. Like the Official Contest News Post to show us you're participating in the contest.

Gamescom Final Day
The final day of Gamescom last week brought many really exciting pieces of information, most noticeably the release of the first ever gameplay video. Albeit a short video, it still shows off the basic UI and a small section of Lambda Mall.
Also a brand new screenshot was released with the final day, and an announcement about the official Otherland Forums!
